Dr. Jay Mueller, DDS
Dentist
Dr. Jay Mueller has been shaping smiles and improving lives since 1981. He founded Mueller and Associates in 2002. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Northwestern University, a foundation that has enabled him to provide exceptional dental care throughout his career.
From the outset of his journey in dentistry, Dr. Mueller has held a firm belief in the principle of treating others as he would want to be treated himself. This philosophy guides his daily interactions with patients and his team, fostering a compassionate and respectful environment. One of his favorite aspects of his profession is its variety; no two days are alike. He enjoys getting to know his patients, their families, and their unique life stories, which enriches his practice and strengthens his connections with the community.
In 2002, Dr. Mueller established the current location of Mueller and Associates, culminating his vision to create a welcoming and innovative dental practice. His decision to enter the dental field stemmed from a desire to help others while also seeking the challenge of a dynamic work environment. Over the years, he has embraced the opportunity to craft a practice that reflects his values and commitment to patient care.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Mueller enjoys spending quality time with friends and family. He has a passion for gardening, traveling, and engaging in home projects, which allow him to unwind and express his creativity. His unique hobby is collecting Corona Beer breweriana, including authentic bottle openers and signage, showcasing his eclectic interests.
An intriguing fact about Dr. Mueller is that he has had the same pet turtle since 1968, a remarkable 57 years of companionship that speaks to his nurturing nature.
With a wealth of experience and a genuine love for his work, Dr. Jay Mueller continues to make a significant impact in the field of dentistry and the lives of his patients.
My 98-year-old mother was in pain and unable to eat many foods due to age-related dental problems. Dr. Amy Mueller not only treated her with exceptional respect and kindness, but she offered her two options to improve her quality of life. When it came time to perform the procedure, Dr. Amy and her staff patiently and thoughtfully made her comfortable, completed the work, and insured she and her family and caregivers understood how to care for her during recovery. The ease and confidence they demonstrated reminds me this is "the norm," at Mueller Dentistry, and I am so grateful to them. Some family members have been patients for decades of Dr. Jay (father) and now Dr. Amy; they are extraordinary people and exceptional dentists.
